Crescent Hires Case Manager (Asheville) - Crescent PPO, the region's largest preferred provider organization, is pleased to announce the appointment of Angela Gruebmeyer as Case Manager. Angela is a welcome addition to Crescent's Health Management team and will spend the majority of her time as the Health Management coordinator at Rutherford Hospital where she will begin a new Disease Management program for the hospital's employees. "We're excited about being selected as the provider of contract Health Management services to Rutherford Hospital," says Crescent CEO, Myrna Harvey. "Angela has an excellent reputation for high quality care that makes her the perfect choice to lead this new initiative." Gruebmeyer has worked for Mission Health and Hospitals for the last nine years, most recently as a Cardiology Case Manager. She has also held positions as Performance Improvement Consultant for Cardiology and Adult Medicine, Pediatric Nursing Supervisor and Pediatric Staff RN. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Wofford College.
