The Waynesville walk kicked off the series of Walk America events in the region on Saturday, April 1st 2006. More than 100 people turned out to cheer on the walkers who completed the 5 mile course. After the walk, participants wwre treated to refreshments from local vendors and entertained by a clown, a martial arts demonstration and music from an Elvis impersonator!
